A downloadable game

Originally created for a Star Wars game played using the Starforged solo RPG system,  these 19 new Oracle tables and Star Wars Species Rules are Star Wars setting-specific, and help you get started with a solo or co-op RPG, or, if you're a GM, help you keep your Star Wars campaign moving with quick references and tables.

The Star Wars Species Rules also has a new special rule for something I call the Force Die Oracle, similar to the Cursed Die rule from Sundered Isles.

Hi! These oracles are great. My group runs a very Mandalorian inspired campaign.

I have created a FoundryVTT module for Starforged Custom Oracles. I was wondering if it would be possible to include your oracles into the module so that players who use FoundryVTT could use your oracles. I would credit you in the README of course.

In any case, thanks for the oracles. I’ll be using them!

Absolutely, I created them for anyone in the roleplaying community to hopefully enjoy. So feel free! And have fun, my friend!

Thanks so much! I’ll let you know once I release an updated version of the module with your oracles.

Hi cdoghusk. I have released a new version of the Starforged Custom Oracles module. You can find it here - https://foundryvtt.com/packages/starforged-custom-oracles

Thanks for the great oracles!

Awesome, that looks great! I hope it can bring lots of gamers some joy! Nice work, my friend. Hey, if you're interested, I also write sci-fi and fantasy novels. I just launched this one a few days ago for Kindle and print, it's called Ghost Saboteur and it's part 1 of a series. Please spread the word if you can, as an indie author I rely on word of mouth for income. If you get a chance to read it, please leave a review on Amazon and Goodreads. And if you don't have the time, no worries, I know life gets busy. Thanks so much, jendave.

Thanks! I have put a link to your AMazon books on the README

Hi! Thank you for providing those random tables. I play starforged solo in the Star Wars Universe, Galactic War Era. So great. Thank you so much.

I have created some tables on my own. You may want to include them in further projects?! Great resource, thanks again.

These are excellent, thanks for sharing.

No problem. I'm working on some others that I think can also help with introducing easy-to-understand lore, so that new players and experienced players can all be "on the same page" and even learn new things about SW canon as they go through a campaign.

that would be great! I have one Star Wars player who is versed in the lore but the rest of my players are not and find that intimidating. I always try to downplay lore knowledge in-game and keep things at the level of three original movies but it is a struggle to juggle both points of view.

Yes, I've had similar problems. I'm usually the lore junkie at my table, but I've been trying to help my friends along and some of the tables I've come up with are helping. So I know how that can be. I agree that dialing back the lore-centric stuff is a good idea to help mitigate new players getting intimidated. I've also been working on a Star Wars-themed GM's Apprentice deck, which will also be for free when I'm done, and which, like the Star Waracles, I've created mostly to help me run games of my own, and because I enjoy creating little tools like these.

Wow, wow wow! Excited to see these resources. For whatever reasons, West End Games, Wizards, & Fantasy Flight/Edge choose not to include a lot of random tables in their materials. There are a handful of them scattered through maybe a dozen books and two books in particular - the WEG Planets Book and the  Galactic Campaign Guide from WoTC.  So for folks looking to run a sandbox or play gm-less (coop/solo) it is a bit of challenge to find the right random tables to get the ideas flowing. (Starforged's tables are good, but not a perfect fit. Stars Without Numbers' tables don't work at all for me. A handful of things in Traveller are helpful for Edge of The Empire or Age of Rebellion games but not much.)

I finally finished the Star Wars version of GM's Apprentice. I'm honestly okay with giving it away for free, but itch.io allows for donations, and I don't want to step on the toes of the creator of GM's Apprentice. So I'm not including the instruction manual for it, so that people will still have to pay for GM's Apprentice on drivethrurpg.com (it is very inexpensive). But mine is Star Wars-themed, with cards that contain mini versions of the Star Waracles here, as well as small, one-card character sheets for quick gameplay if you're on a plane ride and bored. I'm not sure where else I can post it if not itch.io. So if you want to share your email I can just send it to you, or I suppose I can host it somewhere. It's about 24 print-and-play sheets, full of cards to cut out on your own.

Great. I look forward to see the Apprentice Deck mapped for Star Wars!
